Rope tests on the Klausen pass
They had travelled from every corner of the earth: 20 Mammut athletes from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Japan, the USA, Slovenia and Italy. At the end of April 2010, they came together on the Klausen Pass to shoot the key visual for the 2011 summer season. After a snowshoe tour through the soft spring snow to the shooting location, some initial exertion was called for. They climbed the vertically hanging ropes using jumars until all participants had come to a stop in a horizontal line. As soon as everyone was comfortably suspended in climbing harnesses on the ropes, photographer Röbi Bösch simply pressed the button.
